Jayne is a highly proficient 'Synthetic Phonics' consultant, specializing in the Jolly Phonics system to enhance literacy outcomes in Nursery Schools, Infant Schools, and Primary Schools. With a New Zealand university graduate background, NZ Teachers Council Registration, and accreditation from the KSA Ministry of Education, Jayne possesses nearly 25 years of classroom and leadership experience in education across various Cambridge schools globally. Notably, she served as a Primary Headteacher in a distinguished Cambridge International School in Saudi Arabia for approximately a decade.

Having honed her expertise in 'Synthetic Phonics' since the late 1990s, Jayne initially introduced the Jolly Phonics approach in Kuwait, sparking her passion for literacy development. Over the years, she has implemented and refined 'The Jolly Phonics' methodology in three diverse, extremely high achieving Cambridge schools, catering to students with varying language backgrounds. The outcomes of her efforts have been remarkable.

Since 2009, Jayne has been instrumental in training numerous teachers in New Zealand and overseas to effectively implement the 'Jolly Phonics' system in their classrooms. By the end of 2024, she anticipates having equipped hundreds of educators with the knowledge and skills to employ this research substantiated approach.
